Illustrations of Baptismal Fonts

Some wood engravings from Illustrations of Baptismal Fonts by F. A. Paley, M.A., 1844; Mr. Paley was at this time the honorary secretary of the Cambridge Camden Society, according to the title page. This is Frederick Apthorp Paley (1815 – 1888) according to the Library of Congress catalogue.

Note that these are fonts for wetting the heads of infants in batism, not computer fonts!
