At the very Western edge of the Plains of Raea there lies a mighty range of mountains, and beyond that the sea. Some say that hidden in a fold in those mountains is a fortress that is older than time itself, a fortress that has never been taken in battle. If it be true, none have ever returned to tell of it, although many have set out to find it. Some do say that in the poorest parts of the Plains there are nervous villages where hungry men send the best of the harvest each year in tribute to ancient gods. Others say that there could never have been a hollow inside a mountain, and that there was never a place called Kehahn.

But they are wrong . . .
