Rectangular sarcophagus decorated with a courting of marine gods (second half of 2nd century a.d.). Gable top with an inscription and the blazon of Michele da Scorno (end of 15th century). The inscription on the wall may refer to the mural above (now no longer present, badly damaged or destroyed in WWII) although I see mention of a sarcophagus (ossa) and of a date, 1811. |
