This ancient Roman tomb bears a contemporary inscription on the front identifying the administrator (Annio Proculo), but was reused in the 18th century. rectangular sarcophagus (2nd century a.d.). on the front headgear and lictor’s fasces. sepulchure of annio proculo decurion of the colony of ostia and of his mother annia. top with an inscription from 1743. |
