The High Altar is very ornate. The cross over the altar has no naked man on it, writhing in agony, which may mean that it is a Lutheran or Protestant church. The Protestants worship the risen, resurrected Christ rather than the dying one. But the Web pages I found were all very confusing (or confused) as there seem to be two churches with very similar names.
