Time Past and Time Present details

I did this piece for the XML 2002 art and calligraphy exhibtion. The lettering is with calligraphic italic felt tip pens onto draughting vellum (tracing paper); the background is an original page from an eighteenth century Italian book. The text is from T. S. Eliot’s The Four Quartets.
