Pretentious Yet Pointless

The gently twisted upward soaring articulations in this doodle, despite appearing disarmingly simple at first glance, create in the mind contrast of the senses of smell and sight... Such forms, violent and disconcerting, create strong gestalt sensations. An interesting aspect of this image is the impersonal forms and industrial colours contrasting strongly with the gently contorted downward soaring articulations to indicate a reflection of the artist's soul. An important part of this work is the arena of contrasting salt and pepper contrasting strongly with the arena of contrasting colour and space so clearly visible. Contrasts of colour and space dominate the foreground of the work. In constructive colour theory, the visual phenomena of the manifest world are, in themselves, unimportant: the significant thing is feeling, as such. Contrasts of night and day emphasise the broad scope of this work.
An interesting aspect of the work is that it is the spiritual dimension and its endless possibilities. The spectator is drawn by the essential identity of the image into the world of duty, responsibility, discipline and work. Of a sudden, we see the leading centralism for strength undulate towards the centre of the work, suggesting inconstancy. A deep underlying meaning of the image is that it is the eternal contrast of Yin and Yang.
This work is an expression of one of the central preoccupations of Sol Aris's art, the perception of the emphatically factual experience of form and space where the extraordinarily refined aesthetic sensibility to the piece is a reflection of the process of creation.
