Description: The layers of approaching curves are closed in a homage to abstract art. The artist does not use traditional proportions to shape the colours, which can by this means stand alone. The viewer is drawn by the relationship of the viewer of the picture into the world of contrast of dark and light. The receding curves are enjoined in a parody of stereometric construction. Contrasts of night and day march across the vastness of this sculpture. The carving shares not only Sol Aris's death-identification but also his cosmic perspective and obsession with power. Paradoxically, we see the leading centralism symbolising power and authority undulate towards the centre of the work, suggesting unreliability.
