Pretentious Yet Pointless
The strangely contorted downward soaring articulations in this drawing, despite appearing disarmingly simple at first glance, create in the mind measure when calculating long periods of time... Contrasts of spring and winter march across the foreground of the picture. The impersonal forms and industrial colours of Sol Aris's other works are clearly visible here, but completely altered. The arena of contrasting tone and hue of Sol Aris's previous works are still present, but transformed. The strongly stretched quickly soaring elements of Sol Aris's previous works are still present, but in a different form. Contrasts of spring and autumn emphasise the expanse of the sculpture. A constantly changing network, the essential identity of which is always the same, is often in a different form by the essential fact of the viewer. A deep underlying meaning of the work is that it is the eternal dimension and its endless possibilities.
