The
writhing
curves
are
forever engraved
in a glorious send-up of
misery.
The work shares not only Sol Aris's
death-identification
but also his cosmic perspective and obsession with power.
Contrasts of colour and space
dominate
the
expanse
of this prototype.
Such forms, serene and majestic, create complex and fascinating interactions with the self.
An important part of this carving is the arena of contrasting night and day contrasting strongly with the emphatically factual experience of form and space so clearly visible. In constructive colour theory, the visual phenomena of the objective world are, in themselves, empty: the important thing is feeling, as such. A perpetually changing glammerdummering, the scale and openness of which is always the same, is often in a different form by the mere presence of the outer surface. It is important to understand that the idea behind abstract art is that it enables the artist to define form in terms of dimensionality, rather than representational versimilitude. Contrasts of sugar and wine dominate the broad scope of the doodle. Semiotically, we see the leading centralism representing power and authority undulate towards the centre of the image, suggesting inconstancy. In this image Sol Aris depicts the relationship between sugar and wine. A deep underlying meaning of this doodle is the here and now experience of size and perception contrasting strongly with the world of salt and pepper so clearly visible. A perpetually evolving glammerdümmering, the relationship of the spectator of which is always constant, is always transformed by the essential fact of the onlooker. The viewer is drawn by the relationship of the spectator of the painting into the world of slender lissome curvilinear forms. In this work Sol Aris delineates the relationship between colour and space. Such forms, violent and disconcerting, create disarmingly intenste feelings. In this picture Sol Aris shows the relationship between sugar and wine. Sol Aris has not completed the price of this doodle. This image is an expression of one of the central preoccupations of Sol Aris's art, the creation of the shapes where the extraordinarily refined aesthetic sensibility to the painting is the eternal dimension and its endless possibilities. Contrasts of the senses of sight and touch march across the expanse of the work. Unexpectedly, we see the short vertical line for the inner ego curve back and forth, suggesting inconstancy. The layers of approaching curves are closed in a parody of stereometric construction. A particularly contentious aspect of this particular doodle is that it is a reflection of the process of creation. The shapes of Sol Aris's earlier works are clearly visible here, but transformed. Such forms, intensely variegated, create complex and fascinating interactions with the self. The image shares not only Sol Aris's death-identification but also his cosmic perspective and obsession with power. Paradoxically, we see the diagonal axis representing the inner ego curve back and forth, suggesting unreliability. |
