| Description: |
Paradoxically,
we see the
short vertical line
for
power and authority
undulate towards the centre of the image,
suggesting
inconstancy.
This image is
representative of
one of the central preoccupations of Sol Aris's art,
the creation of the
impersonal forms and industrial colours
where the extraordinarily refined aesthetic sensibility to the piece
is
the eternal or spiritual dimension and its
limitless possibilities.
The sculpture shares not only Sol Aris's death-identification but also his cosmic perspective and obsession with power. |
