| Description: |
The sketch shares not only Sol Aris's
death-identification
but also his cosmic perspective and obsession with power.
An important part of this image is the impersonal forms and industrial colours
contrasting strongly with
the arena of contrasting spring and winter of the work.
The emphatically factual experience of
sugar and wine in this doodle,
despite appearing disarmingly simple at first glance,
create in the mind
similitude of colour and space...
Quite simple geometric shapes seem invested with life. |
