| Description: |
The arena of contrasting tone and hue in this doodle,
despite appearing disarmingly simple at first glance,
create in the mind
similarity of spring and winter...
A particularly contentious aspect of this sketch is the impersonal forms and industrial colours
contrasting strongly with
the arena of contrasting summer and winter of the work.
The artist avoids a limited canvas to contain the colours, which thus subsist in a world of their own making. |
