| Description: | This sculpture is an expression of one of the central preoccupations of Sol Aris's art, the perception of the here and now experience of night and day where the scale and openness to the prototype is the eternal contrast of Yin and Yang. The major feature of surrealism is that it encourages the artist to understand form in terms of area, rather than mass. |
