| Description: |
The here and now experience of
dark and light in this sketch,
despite appearing disarmingly simple at first glance,
create in the mind
epistemology of area and
place...
Contrasts of night and day
march across
the
emptiness
of this work.
In surrealism, the visual phenomena of the manifest world are, in themselves, unimportant: the significant thing is feeling, as such. |
