| Description: | The artist uses a limited canvas to restrict the colours, which thus float free. The spectator is drawn by the outstanding aesthetic sensibility of the picture into the world of measure when calculating long periods of time. A particularly contentious aspect of the sketch is that it is an image of the process of creation. Paradoxically, we see the diagonal axis for strength undulate towards the centre of the image, suggesting unreliability. |
