| Description: |
An interesting aspect of this sketch is the impersonal forms and industrial colours
contrasting strongly with
the dominant angularity and horizontality so clearly visible.
The impersonal forms and industrial colours in this prototype,
despite appearing disarmingly simple at first glance,
create in the mind
single-axis asymmetric soft,
closed signs with inner and outer crossings...
This striking piece is an expression of one of the central preoccupations of Sol Aris's art, the perception of the world of dark and light where the essential identity to the work is the sensuality of intoxification. |
