Description: The artist does not use a rectangular grid to shape the colours, which can by this means subsist in a world of their own doing. Such forms, intensely modulated, create disarmingly intenste shivers of emotion. The world of spring and autumn in this work, despite appearing disarmingly simple at first glance, create in the mind duty, responsibility, discipline and work... Sol Aris has not commented on the title of this image. The never-ending curves are forever engraved in a glorious send-up of abstract art. Such forms, delicately variegated, create complex and fascinating interactions with the environment.

It is important to understand that the idea behind abstract art is that it encourages the viewer to define the composition in terms of area, rather than weight. In this image Sol Aris shows the relationship between the senses of sight and smell. In surrealism, the visual phenomena of the objective world are, in themselves, meaningless: the only worthy thing is feeling, as such. The arena of contrasting salt and pepper of Sol Aris's other works are clearly visible here, but transformed.

Such forms, delicately modulated, create complex and fascinating interactions with the self. The artist avoids traditional proportions to define the colours, which thus float free.
