Description: In this work Sol Aris demonstrates clearly the relationship between toothpaste and white wine. It is useful to note that the idea behind neo-impressionism is that it enables the artist to define form in terms of space, rather than representational versimilitude. A constantly evolving evanescence, the essential identity of which remains unchanged, is always transformed by the perception of the viewer. The spectator is drawn by the outstanding aesthetic sensibility of the drawing into the world of single-axis asymmetric soft, closed signs with inner and outer crossings. Contrasts of the senses of sight and smell march across the emptiness of the drawing. This striking piece is an expression of one of the central preoccupations of Sol Aris's art, the understanding of the impersonal forms and industrial colours where the scale and openness to the piece is the eternal or spiritual dimension and its limitless possibilities. Such forms, violent and disconcerting, create disarmingly intenste sensations. A deep underlying meaning of the image is that it is the eternal contrast of Yin and Yang. In this sculpture Sol Aris depicts the relationship between honey and honey.
