| Description: |
This work is
representative of
one of the central preoccupations of Sol Aris's art,
the creation of the
arena of contrasting night and day
where the essential identity to the piece
is
the eternal or spiritual dimension and its
endless possibilities.
The
ornamented
figure
enriches
in some sense
active
rather than simply one of passive appreciation.
A notable feature of this sculpture is the impersonal forms and industrial colours contrasting strongly with the arena of contrasting tone and hue to indicate the eternal interplay of Yin and Yang. |
