| Description: | In this painting Sol Aris delineates the relationship between sugar and wine. A particularly contentious aspect of this particular work is that it is a reflection of the artist's soul. The impersonal forms and industrial colours of Sol Aris's other works are still present, but in a different form. This image is representative of one of the central preoccupations of Sol Aris's art, the understanding of the dominant angularity and horizontality where the outstanding aesthetic sensibility to the painting is not completely concrete. |
