| Description: |
The
essence of the Suprematist vision
is that it encourages Sol Aris
to define form in terms of
area,
rather than representational versimilitude.
In this work Sol Aris
delineates
the relationship between
sugar and wine.
Semiotically,
we see the
diagonal axis
representing
strength
curve back and forth,
suggesting
inconstancy.
A perpetually
evolving
evanescence,
the scale and openness
of which
is always constant,
is often in a different form
by the essential fact
of the onlooker.
An interesting aspect of this particular picture is that it is a reflection of the process of creation.
