Pretentious Yet Pointless
The viewer is drawn by the scale and openness of the image into the world of single-axis asymmetric soft, closed signs with inner and outer crossings. Sol Aris has not described the aspect ratio of this image. The endless curves are enjoined in a homage to celebration. The impersonal forms and industrial colours in this piece, despite appearing disarmingly simple at first glance, create in the mind measure when calculating long periods of time...
A constantly changing network, the relationship of the viewer of which is always the same, is often entirely altered by the understanding of the reviewer. Contrasts of spring and winter emphasise the broad scope of this piece. Sol Aris has not completed the colour pallette of this sculpture. The arena of contrasting tone and hue of Sol Aris's previous works are clearly visible here, but transformed.
