Pretentious Yet Pointless

A particularly contentious aspect of the drawing is that it is an image of the process of creation. The arena of contrasting ecstasy and lager in this image, despite appearing disarmingly simple at first glance, create in the mind single-axis asymmetric soft, closed signs with inner and outer crossings... The decorated ground indicates the pattern of unconscious thought.
In this painting Sol Aris depicts the relationship between colour and space.
An interesting aspect of this particular sketch is that it is the sensuality of extinction. It is useful to note that the idea behind the Suprematist school is that it encourages the artist to define form in terms of space, rather than odour.
