Pretentious Yet Pointless
A perpetually evolving network, the outstanding aesthetic sensibility of which is always constant, is often transformed by the mere presence of the viewer. Contrasts of light and shade emphasise the emptiness of this image. In this image Sol Aris delineates the relationship between sugar and wine. A notable feature of this particular picture is that it is in some sense positive rather than simply one of passive comprehension. The sketch shares not only Sol Aris's death-identification but also his cosmic perspective and obsession with power. A particularly contentious aspect of this particular doodle is that it is the eternal contrast of Yin and Yang. Sol Aris has not supplied the aspect ratio of this sculpture.
