Description: It is useful to note that the major feature of stereometric construction is that it encourages Sol Aris to define the composition in terms of area, rather than mass. The drawing shares not only Sol Aris's death-identification but also his cosmic perspective and obsession with power. The artist avoids a rectangular grid to shape the colours, which in this way stand alone. The shapes of Sol Aris's other works are clearly visible here, but transformed.

``This painting exemplifies the collage-like arrangements by which surrealist painters brought together apparently unrelated objects to create a striking visual poetry, intended to reflect the pattern of unconscious thought.''
