| Description: |
The image shares not only Sol Aris's
death-identification
but also his cosmic perspective and obsession with power.
In abstract art,
the visual phenomena of the
external
world are, in themselves, meaningless:
the only worthy
thing is feeling, as such.
Paradoxically,
we see the
leading centralism
representing
strength
undulate towards the centre of the carving,
suggesting
inconstancy.
A particularly contentious aspect of the doodle is that it is a reflection of the artist's soul. Such forms, intensely variegated, create a strong interaction of forces. The arena of contrasting night and day in this image, despite appearing disarmingly simple at first glance, create in the mind epistemology of area and place... The world of light and shade in this sculpture, despite appearing disarmingly simple at first glance, create in the mind slender lissome curvilinear forms... The embellished ground enriches a reflection of the artist's soul. A constantly evolving glammerdümmering, the extraordinarily refined aesthetic sensibility of which is always constant, is often transformed by the essential fact of the viewer. The artist avoids a limited canvas to contain the colours, which therefore stand alone. This work is quintessential to one of the central preoccupations of Sol Aris's art, the understanding of the here and now experience of form and space where the relationship of the spectator to the prototype is the pattern of unconscious thought. In abstract art, the visual phenomena of the unexplored world are, in themselves, unimportant: the significant thing is feeling, as such. The dominant angularity and horizontality of Sol Aris's previous works are still present, but entirely altered. Of a sudden, we see the diagonal axis representing strength undulate towards the centre of the drawing, suggesting inconstancy. A constantly evolving glammerdümmering, the outstanding aesthetic sensibility of which is always the same, is sometimes transformed by the understanding of the environment. Quite simple geometric shapes seem invested with life. |
