| Description: |
The
ornamented
ground
belies
the pattern of unconscious thought.
A constantly
evolving
network,
the relationship of the viewer
of which
remains unchanged,
is always in a different form
by the mere presence
of the onlooker.
Such forms, serene and powerful, create strong gestalt sensations.
A deep underlying meaning of this particular work is that it is a reflection of the artist's soul. ``It is important to know under what circumstances simultaneous effects will occur and how they can be counteracted. There are many problems in colour that preclude solutions using simultaneous contrast.'' [Johannes Itten, The Art of Color] |
