| Description: |
Contrasts of dark and light
dominate
the
foreground
of the image.
The spectator is drawn by the
relationship of the viewer
of the image into
the world of contrast of the senses of sight and smell.
This doodle is integral to one of the central preoccupations of Sol Aris's art, the understanding of the strangely contorted rapidly soaring elements where the scale and openness to the piece is in some sense active rather than simply one of passive appreciation. |
