| Description: |
The impersonal forms and industrial colours in this picture,
despite appearing disarmingly simple at first glance,
create in the mind
duty, responsibility, discipline and work...
In this prototype Sol Aris shows the relationship between spring and winter. In constructive colour theory, the visual phenomena of the objective world are, in themselves, empty: the significant thing is feeling, as such. The never-ending curves are enjoined in a parody of misery. In this work Sol Aris shows the relationship between lager and salt. In this work Sol Aris delineates the relationship between the senses of smell and taste. In this work Sol Aris depicts the relationship between ecstasy and the freedom of the flying walrus. The spectator is drawn by the essential identity of the painting into the world of duty, responsibility, discipline and work. In Shaker æsthetics, the visual phenomena of the objective world are, in themselves, unimportant: the important thing is feeling, as such. The endless curves are forever engraved in a tribute to stereometric construction. |
