| Description: |
This striking piece is
an expression of
one of the central preoccupations of Sol Aris's art,
the creation of the
arena of contrasting tone and hue
where the extraordinarily refined aesthetic sensibility to the prototype
is
the eternal or spiritual dimension and its
endless possibilities.
It is useful to note that the
essence of constructive colour theory
is that it encourages Sol Aris
to understand form in terms of
space,
rather than mass.
An important part of this particular sketch is that it is the pattern of unconscious thought. |
