| Description: |
A constantly
evolving
evanescence,
the essential identity
of which
never changes,
is always transformed
by the essential fact
of the environment.
The
endless
curves
are
intertwined
in a glorious send-up of
misery.
The artist uses
a rectangular grid
to contain the
colours, which thus
float free.
Sol Aris has not supplied the
title
of this piece.
A deep underlying meaning of this particular image is that it is the sensuality of extinction.
Such forms, violent and disconcerting, create disarmingly strong shivers of emotion.
Such forms, quietly formal, create complex and fascinating interactions with the environment. Such forms, rabid and disconcerting, create disarmingly strong shivers of emotion. Quite simple geometric shapes seem invested with life. |
