| Description: | A particularly contentious aspect of this prototype is the impersonal forms and industrial colours contrasting strongly with the arena of contrasting happiness and beer so clearly visible. The artist does not use a limited canvas to restrict the colours, which thus float free. Such forms, rabid and disconcerting, create strong gestalt sensations. In this work Sol Aris depicts the relationship between salt and pepper. A particularly contentious aspect of this piece is the dominant angularity and horizontality contrasting strongly with the world of spring and autumn of the image. |
