| Description: |
In this work Sol Aris
demonstrates clearly
the relationship between
the senses of smell and taste.
A deep underlying meaning of this particular sketch is that it is in some sense
positive
rather than simply one of passive comprehension.
This sculpture is an expression of one of the central preoccupations of Sol Aris's art, the perception of the world of the senses of smell and touch where the scale and openness to the carving is the eternal interplay of Yin and Yang. |
