| Description: |
In abstract art,
the visual phenomena of the
physical
world are, in themselves, empty:
the only worthy
thing is feeling, as such.
Contrasts of the senses of smell and touch
emphasise
the
vastness
of this carving.
The artist employs a limited canvas to contain the colours, which thus stand alone. |
