| Description: |
The artist uses
a limited canvas
to restrict the
colours, which therefore
subsist in a world of their own making.
This work is
representative of
one of the central preoccupations of Sol Aris's art,
the perception of the
shapes
where the essential identity to the piece
is
not completely abstract.
The major feature of Shaker æsthetics is that it enables Sol Aris to define form in terms of space, rather than weight. |
