Kehahn/Namess: Elbry: A smith at the city of Town Thirty-six

Elbry is a master-smith, one of only four permitted to work in Town Thirty-six since the conquest. His smithy is just near Eastgate. He has three apprentices whom he teaches; one is fourteen, one sixteen and one seventeen and nearly ready to leave. He also has two slaves, both eunuchs, naked branded and collared according to the laws of Raeia. Two of the apprentices were appointed by Sheema, the wife of the governor, and Elbry believes them to be spies, set to watch over him in case he starts to make weapons.

When Khadi arrives and makes a sword, Elbry is torn: should he report Khadi to Sheema? In the event, Sheema finds out quickly, but is powerless to act.
